ABSTRACT

The intent of this research paper is to identify the purpose of sandstone bricks found inside the KTK tunnel system, Visoko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, They were assumed to be parts of a “wheel,” or a “millstone” and classifield as such.

I present archaeological evidence along with ancient building techniques, leading to the conclusion that the sandstone bricks actually were cast to form internal drum sections, then stacked so as to create an illusion of single block columns.
